He is a California P.O.S.T. Master Instructor and graduate of the P.O.S.T. Command College. He is a Ph.D. student with a Master's in Higher Education.
Dustin is an expert in narcotics trafficking and production, use of force issues, and officer wellness. Dustin teaches leadership, management, and community policing and has worked on numerous training projects and film productions, including topics such as de-escalation, drug influence recognition, internal affairs investigations, and racial profiling.
He is a first-generation American on his father's side and has been married to his wife for 30 years. He is a father to three and a grandfather to two. As an avid outdoorsman, you can find him surfing, sailing, cycling, hiking, and kayaking. Dustin is a hot-yoga fanatic and teaches yoga and self-regulation techniques exclusively to law enforcement students.
